Alabama Wage Payment Timing Requirements

Employers in Alabama must comply with these state rules regarding the timing and frequency of wage payments.

Alabama's wage payment law covers employers that are public service corporations who are engaged in transportation and doing business in Alabama. These employers must pay employees in full for services performed as often as once every two weeks, or twice during each calendar month.

Payments or settlements must include all amounts due for labor or services performed up to not less than 15 days previous to the time of payment.
