Restrictions on Firing Employees in Arkansas
Employers in Arkansas are subject to these state rules that restrict firing employees under certain circumstances.
Arkansas laws make it unlawful for an employer to:
- fail to allow time off to vote
- fire an employee for serving on jury duty
- deny equal employment opportunity
- fire an employee for filing a wage claim or for having wages withheld for child support
