Idaho employers must provide employees with leave for military duty in accordance with these state rules.
Private sector employees in Idaho, other than temporary employees, who are members of the National Guard or a reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces, who leave their employment for training for 15 days or less each year are to be restored to their position or a similar position with the same status, pay and seniority upon completion of training. After restoration, the employee cannot be discharged without cause for one year.
