Restrictions on Firing Employees in Idaho
Employers in Idaho are subject to these state rules that restrict firing employees under certain circumstances.
Idaho laws make it unlawful for an employer to:
- require an employee to take a polygraph test
- fire for union activity or for serving on a jury
- deny equal employment opportunity
- retaliate against an employee for filing a wage claim
- fire an employee for having wages garnished
