Paying Terminated Employees in Indiana

Employers in Indiana must comply with these state requirements when making the final wage payment to terminated employees.

In Indiana, wages of discharged employees become due and payable on the regular pay day for the pay period in which the separation occurred. Certain exceptions exist.

For employees who quit and for strikers, wages are due the next regular payday.
