Missouri employers must provide employees with leave for military duty in accordance with these state rules.
Employers, officers and agents of any corporation, company or firm, or any other person, are prohibited from discharging any person from employment because of being a member of the Missouri organized militia.
It is also prohibited to hinder or prevent any person from performing any militia service he may be called upon to perform by proper authority or dissuade any person from enlistment in the organized militia by threat or injury to him in respect to his employment, trade or business, in case of his enlistment.
Employers must reinstate former employees returning from active state duty.
