Employers in Oklahoma must comply with these state rules regarding the timing and frequency of wage payments.
In Oklahoma, wage payment must be made at least semimonthly, on regular paydays designated in advance by the employer. More frequent payment is permitted.
Management level employees who are exempt under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), must be paid at least once a calendar month.
An interval of no more than 11 days may elapse between the end of the pay period worked and the regular payday designated by the employer. The employer is allowed three days after the payday in which to make payment as required.
