Pennsylvania Wage Payment Timing Requirements

Employers in Pennsylvania must comply with these state rules regarding the timing and frequency of wage payments.

In Pennsylvania, regular paydays must be designated in advance. Unless otherwise stipulated in the contract of employment or by custom in the trade, wages must be paid within 15 days from the end of a pay period.

More frequent payments are permitted.
