Restrictions on Firing Employees in Wyoming
Employers in Wyoming are subject to these state rules that restrict firing employees under certain circumstances.
Wyoming laws make it unlawful for an employer to:
- not permit time off to vote
- fire an employee because of jury duty
- deny equal employment
- retaliate against an employee for filing a safety complaint or wage complaint
- fire an employee for refusing to work more than 8 hours in a 24-hour period
