Tipped Employees in Wyoming

Employers in Wyoming must conform with these state rules regarding the treatment of tips received by employees.

In Wyoming, the minimum wage paid by an employer to a tipped employee may not be less than $2.13 per hour.

If the wage paid by the employer combined with the employee's tips is less than the minimum wage during any given pay period, the employer must pay the difference to the tipped employee.

Tipped employees are employees who customarily and regularly receive more than $30 a month in tips.
